Episode Notes

Brenda has always been a go-getter. She is a 2x Best Selling Author and international award-winning professional who is a specialist in crisis management, government contracting, HR, and Unmanned Aerial Systems. Brenda has led teams through some of the most difficult times and crises imaginable. Her experience and expertise have made her one of the most highly sought-after professionals in her field.

Brenda has spent the last 30 years leading and working in business, security, and operations for some of the largest companies in the world. She is a contributor to Entrepreneur.com and is featured in Forbes, Fast Company, Inc, US News and World Reports.

In 2021 Brenda converted her experience and entered the drone business by leading a cadre of retired US Navy SEALs that delivers a training program for law enforcement officers and forensic technicians on tactical and practical drone education. Brenda is an instructor and the CEO of Aerial Recon Training by DRL Products LLC. She is also the Chief Air Boss and operating partner to The Drone Farm, a 144-acre drone training range in Wakefield, Virginia.

She’s seen it all. Her HR experience has exposed her to managing volatile employee situations involving workplace violence, a near stabbing, deliberately inciting fear in other coworkers, stalking women, breaches of protocol around national security, assault, suicide, death, homicide – you name it. In fact, she’s faced such a wide variety of extreme circumstances that she’s been deemed “an HR force of nature.” But through it all, she remains unflappable and determined to help others find success.

Brenda has always had a heart for service. Brenda is a Navy SEAL Community volunteer who devotes her time and energy to supporting veterans of Naval Special Warfare. She spends 32 weeks out of the year working with The Honor Foundation to help transitioning Special Forces personnel. Brenda is knowledgeable, insightful, and creative, and she uses her skills to help these servicemen and women make the most of their careers.

Perseverance, integrity, and relentless optimism are just of the few of the ingredients that make up what you experience when meeting and working with her.
